The International Hotel is exceptional for the price. My room was spacious, extremely comfortable, and air conditioned. Housekeeping cleaned the room and brought fresh towels daily. There was a 24-hour reception and the concierge called a cab for me when I departed. The breakfast was wonderful with the normal Italian breakfast foods but also hot scrambled eggs and bacon. The hotel is also a short walk from the center of Iseo and the train station.

Good breakfast and 3-course dinner was very good, which made half board worth it. Access to a private part of the lake was really close 2-5min by foot. The hotel rooms were really clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Free parking is right in front of the hotel!
A 5-minute walk from the shores of Lake Iseo, Locanda Diana offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi next to Iseo Train Station. It features a restaurant, garden and playground.

View was wonderful
Staff great
Parking easy and free
Beautiful city with breathtaking views. Full of life, but not too chaotic. Great for people who like to spend their time hiking or biking, but also for not-too-sporty people who want to take a stroll along the lakeside.

Iseo has a very nice old town, full of good restaurants and bars.
Do not miss the market twice a week with local products and try the Franciacorta sparkling wine (much better than Prosecco).
Do not miss the trip on the lake to Monte Iseo and the walking up and/or down the hill to the little church at the top. I feel, that it is easier to take the small local bus to the top and to walk down from the church.
Brescia is also very near and can easily be reached by train.

Centro Storico in Iseo was great. I loved it.
Centro Storico in Iseo was great. I loved it. A mix of eclectic shops and very charming, very old buildings. Monte Isola, a large island with steep terrain, was pure magic. I loved it there.
Biking is a disappointment. The east side of the lake, heading south from Lovere down to Iseo, is torn up from construction and the bike paths as well as continuous train and bus service is blocked. On the west side, from Iseo to Sarnico and north to Lovere, almost all of the route is on a highway including at least two long tunnels that feel quite dangerous when large trucks roar past. Also, in October the winter ferry schedule begins and the service is not frequent. You can't jump on a ferry and go clear around the lake.
I made the mistake of renting a manual bike, thinking the terrain was mostly flat, and how bad could it be? The bike I had felt like I was biking through sand--a lot of exertion and not much oomph. Iseo is around 32 km from Lovere. I thought I could grab a ferry back but the next departure was a few hours away at 6:45 pm. I had to bike all the way back the same way I came. A fun outing became a grueling ordeal, but the scenery and the towns along the way was spectacular.

I loved the laid back non commercialism of Iseo.
I loved the laid back non commercialism of Iseo. It was just what I hoped it would be. Just the right size to walk everywhere. Catch the ferry to other villages and the island of Monte Isola . Great train connections for further exploring . Friendly cafes and bars.
It felt like a good mix of locals and visitors but it was the end of the season. Nice architecture and some interesting old churches .
Not the place to visit if you want any sort of night life. More suited to walkers and cyclists and nature lovers.

Iseo was a great base for exploring the area.
Iseo was a great base for exploring the area. Ideal for people who want to relax by the lake, or go hiking, cycling, swimming. Great town with plenty of restaurants, bars, and gelato spots. Nice buzz even in late September, great weather mid-20's deg C. A car would have been handy but we travelled by bicycle or train.
Travelled from Bergamo airport by bus & train. Some delays with trains. Went back to Milan one day early to avoid stress of train delays when returning to the airport on final day.

Good position, short flat walk of about 20 mins into Iseo.
Good position, short flat walk of about 20 mins into Iseo. Pool area was excellent . Good range of quality food including hot food at breakfast . Staff were very helpful both in reception , in the restaurant.and bar . A very relaxing hotel
The location is great with easy access to the lake and beautiful Iseo town, which thankfully isn’t too touristy. From Iseo railway station it is easy to get the train to Milan, Verona, Venice and Lake Garda, each with only one connection in Brescia, so a great place to relax for a few days or explore Italy!
If staying on the site Bar Elise is a lovely little bar with a great view of the lake, very friendly staff with reasonably priced food and drinks.
There are paddle boards, kayaks etc. for hire all very reasonably priced.
Hotel is in the perfect location, and booking a room with a balcony makes a difference (it's a small outdoor area but so nice to have the views). Set along a quiet part of the lake but also close enough to town and other restaurants.
Staff was very friendly and happy to answer all questions.
Useful to have a car here to get to other locations but train stop is very close as well. Bikes are also available
Breakfast had many options and the restaurant on-site has a beautiful dinner menu.
This place is absolutely superb. The service from the staff was great.
It is simple, but wonderful. The setting was gorgeous and views outstanding. You need a car, or, like us you can use the free bikes, but it is uphill back and from the centre is Iseo took us just under 20 mins to cycle / push the bike back.
The breakfast is simple and ample. But the restaurant for dinner is first class, the food quality was probably the best in the whole time in Italy and well worth the treat.

The hotel sits right at the lake, steps away from the ferry port and towns piazzas while providing stunning sunset views. It is beautifully designed and appointed in classic Italian style. Alessandro, the manager, is an amiable, capable chap—concierge, barista, and bartender— runs the whole show, with his sleepy dog, nuvola, by his side. Hint: there’s a terrific full-fledged food and flea market just behind the hotel on Tuesday when we were there.
The location was outstanding, we couldn’t have asked for better views of the lake and mountains. The room was fabulous as was the food in the restaurant- dining was lakeside. Breakfast was excellent too. There are bicycles to use as well as paddle boards. There are Ferries to take you to other places on the lake, but those have to be caught in the town of Iseo just down the road. There wasn’t anything to fault to this wonderful Hotel stay.
The host Ana was so welcoming and friendly especially as we arrived later than expected. The location is excellent for the lakeside, centre, train station and supermarket shopping is 15-20 minutes walk. The bed is very comfortable and the terrace is lovely in the evening. The bell chimes from the nearby church are beautiful. We'll definitely stay there again on our return to Iseo.
Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. They went above and beyond at all times, especially Francesca and Donella at the front desk. We came to Iseo for a business trip and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The restaurant on location was 5 star! Highly recommended!
The campsite was in a great location next to the lake and the railway station. There is a cycle track to the the closest town Iseo. The campsite was clean and the mobile home we booked was perfect. Our host was friendly and even gave us some croissants for our homeward journey

Exceptional stay in this great B&B near Lake Iseo. The parking was easy, the WIFI was excellent and the room was really comfortable, clean and cozy. Our host made us feel right at home, and the breakfast was perfect.
A perfect stay at Lake Iseo in a very central location. The apartment is very well equipped and super quiet just off the square. Fantastic check-in with super helpful staff. Daily cleaning. Fantastic find.
the location is amazing, the town has a good vibe, the lake is great, the animation for the kids is fun, sports facilities (tennis basketball football) are great, staff very kind and fun,
great beaches
Stunning lake view from room. Died and gone to heaven. Staff were superb and went out of their way to help you. Dinner and drinks at hotel not overpriced for quality. We’ll return for sure
Excellent value for the money. Staff at the reception absolutely on your service - big compliment for them. Lake Iseo quite place for relaxation and with lot of nice places to visit.
